Ted Woodruff’s journey to becoming the Executive Director of the Northeast Oregon Compassion Center (NOCC) is a testament to the transformative power of faith and resilience. As a certified CADC II and CRM, Ted specializes in addiction counseling, with a focus on substance use disorders. His personal story is one of profound change—after spending time in prison, Ted encountered the very type of guidance and support that would later inspire him to dedicate his life to helping others. Through this experience, he developed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, which became the foundation of his new life.

Ted began his career at NOCC as a counselor, where his empathy and understanding of the struggles faced by those battling addiction quickly became apparent. His commitment to the mission of NOCC, coupled with his unwavering dedication to serving others, led to his promotion to Executive Director in 2023. Today, Ted leads the Northeast Oregon Compassion Center with the same grace and purpose that guided him through his own transformation, helping others find hope and healing through the center’s many programs.
