Where Do My Donations Go?
At the Northeast Oregon Compassion Center, we believe in full transparency and accountability when it comes to the generous contributions we receive from our supporters. Your donations, whether financial or in-kind, play a vital role in sustaining our programs and services across Baker City, Baker County, Eastern Oregon, and Northeast Oregon. Every dollar and every item donated helps us put #CompassionInAction, making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Financial Contributions
Your financial donations are the backbone of our operations, allowing us to fund a wide range of programs and services. Here’s how your monetary contributions are used:
- Program Funding: A significant portion of donations goes directly to funding our core programs, including Benevolence Services, Counseling Services, and Intervention Services. This ensures that we can continue to provide food, clothing, counseling, and support to individuals and families in need.
- Operational Costs: To maintain our high standards of service, a portion of donations is allocated to operational costs. This includes the maintenance of our facilities in Baker City, the salaries of our dedicated staff, and the resources needed to keep our programs running smoothly.
- Emergency Assistance: We reserve a portion of our funds for emergency assistance, allowing us to respond quickly to urgent needs within our community. Whether it’s providing vouchers, emergency food supplies, or urgent visitation services, your donations enable us to be there when it matters most.
Compassion Champions
