Announcements

Turkey Trot Fundraiser Update

Our annual 2025 Turkey Trot Fundraiser was a success! We are still seeing donations come in for this event. Our running total raised so far is $2,298.55. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and supported this event!

Food Bank Update

Our food bank had a setback this month when one of our freezers malfunctioned. This is an essential piece of equipment, so we replaced it with a new one. A grant has been submitted to help offset the cost. Now we can get back to business as scheduled.

On the Horizon

Make your plans to join us for our 2026 Annual Banquet on February 6, 2025. Tickets are just $25.00 for dinner and lots of entertainment. Get your tickets now before they sell out.

If you would like to donate an item to be auctioned off, please drop it off no later than January 23 at The Compassion Center office.

Volunteers

We Need You

As our food bank grows, we are in need of more volunteers. Our food bank distribution day is every Thursday (except holidays). If you have a few hours to volunteer on Thursdays, give us a call. A little of your time would go a long way in helping our community.

Volunteer Spotlight: Shannon Slater

Shannon Slater is one of our newest volunteers helping in our food bank. He has been a great addition to our team—thank you so much for your service!

Volunteering in our Food Bank is always an adventure, and there is never a dull moment. We are grateful for our volunteers and how well everyone works together. Thank you for all your hard work!
