With over 40 years of experience as a car mechanic, Cliff Cole has always been passionate about solving problems and working with people. His unique journey from mechanic to ministry leader has shaped his approach to community outreach, and he now serves as the Church and Community Coordinator for Safe Families for Children.

Cliff’s relationship with the Northeast Oregon Compassion Center began in 1999, when he took his first caregivers class. His dedication to ministry led him to spearhead programs at the Powder River Correctional Facility, where he and a team of volunteers provide worship services, faith-based addiction recovery programs, and personal mentorship for inmates. This consistency and commitment are at the core of Cliff’s work, whether inside the prison walls or out in the community.

In his role with SFFC, Cliff acts as the primary point of contact for ministries, places of worship, and other faith-based organizations interested in getting involved with the program. His experience leading large teams of volunteers and fostering connections between faith communities has equipped him to build strong partnerships that drive SFFC’s mission forward. Cliff is excited about what God has in store for the future, and he feels blessed to be part of a ministry that continues to give hope and compassion to families in need.
