Cliff Cole is a lifelong resident of Baker County and a graduate of Baker High School, Class of 1969. With over four decades of experience as a small business owner and manager, Cliff brings a steady, practical leadership style shaped by years of serving both customers and community.

His commitment to public service is extensive. Cliff served as a Volunteer Fire Chief for the Haines City and Rural Fire District for 19 years and as a certified EMT for 11 years, demonstrating a longstanding dedication to the safety and well-being of others.

Cliff’s passion for ministry and restoration has been a defining part of his life. For many years, he has worked closely with incarcerated individuals, facilitating 12-step recovery groups and guiding participants through moral inventory and behavioral transformation. His work has consistently focused on helping individuals change patterns of thinking and make healthier life choices.

He holds multiple certifications, including:

Biblical Caregiving (AACC)
True-Thought Cognitive Behavioral Specialist
Domestic Violence Intervention Facilitator (Duluth Model, Golden Eagle Curriculum, and Allies for Change)
Peer Support Specialist (MACHO)

Cliff has also spent nearly two decades serving as Ministry Director for the Northeast Oregon Compassion Center, where he has overseen and facilitated domestic violence intervention groups for both men and women, along with broader caregiving and outreach efforts.

At the core of Cliff’s leadership is a simple calling: to serve others with compassion, consistency, and faith. He and his wife Debbie have been married for over 40 years, and together they have built a life rooted in service to their community. In his free time, Cliff enjoys reading, fishing, and continuing his lifelong work of helping people find hope and direction.
